COVID-19 emerged as a major public health outbreak in late 2019. Bangladesh reported its first case on 8th March 2020 and at Sylhet Div area, first case detected in April 2020, authority adopted a policy of extensive contact tracing, quarantine and initially hospitalizing of all cases.
